From Jeffrey A. Brown:

Just a short note to show my respect and gratitude to one of the nicest people I have ever known, David Bergen.   I was fortunate enough to have worked with him as a Broadcast Engineer at KWHY-TV 22 Los Angeles from 1999-2001.   He was always incredibly great to work with, very professional, someone you would always be proud to say was your friend.  .He will be missed by all, especially myself, as he helped in a way that I could never thank him enough for...helping me to work on the KWHY-TV transmitters on Mt. Wilson.

Thanks, Dave...you're the best.

Jeffrey A. Brown

From Vicki Amrine:

I remember one time at Mt. Harvard I saw a pie tin filled with kibble on the floor of Channel 52's suite.  I asked Dave what it was for, and he told me how he had trained a squirrel to come in and eat out of the tin.  He had a kind heart and will be missed.

From Steve Darmis:

It was David Bergen who hired me at Channel 22.  He was the person that gave me my first break, as I was fresh out of video production school with no television experience.    David was the kind of person with no pretense, no phoniness about him.   He was real & genuine.   I look back at my days spent at Channel 22 with good memories, thanks - in part - to David Bergen.
