CRASH COURSE ON BECOMING AN ANTI-MULTITASKING ADVOCATE

  STEP 1:

  o  With a stopwatch, time how long it takes you to write
  the phrase, "Multitasking is inefficient."

  o  There is a catch: Every time you write a letter, on the
  line below the letter write the letter number starting with
  1 for "M," 2 for "u" etc.  There are 25 numbers in all.
  The vertical columns need not line up.

  o  Write down how long it takes you to complete this task.


  STEP 2:

  o  With a stopwatch, time how long it takes you to do this:

  o  Write the phrase, "Multitasking is inefficient."

  o  When you are finished, write the numbers 1 through 25 on
  the line right below.  The vertical columns need not line up.

  o  Write down how long it takes you to complete this task.

  If your times showed what our times showed, you have completed
  the training necessary to become an anti-multitasking advocate.
